On 2/1/2014, there was a visit by representatives from more than 20 Northern Chinese companies in various fields to the Danang Investment Promotion Centre (IPC Danang) with the purpose of looking for more information about investment environment and opportunities.

At the meeting, they received a warm greeting from Mr. Truong Hao, IPCDanang's Vice Director. Mr. Hao also noted the stable increase of Chinese tourists in Danang and stated that the city would be welcome to Chinese visitors, either as tourists or investors. At the same time, he presented about the energetic business environment and the competitive advantages of Danang,as well as urged for investment in the city, especially in the high-tech or IT industries, which play a focal role on the developing process of the city and are entitled to enjoying many priorities from taxes to land rental.

In the discussion, the Chinese companies expressed their interests and brought out several questions about implementing foreign investment projects, transferring profit to holding companies, priorities of investment in industrial zones, transportation industry and the possibility of big hospitality projects such as golf courses, sport complexes as well as other entertainment facilities.
