In the morning of October 15, 2014, within the framework of "Danang's Year of Enterprises 2014", Danang Investment Promotion Center (IPC DANANG) in cooperation with Danang Tax Department, Danang Customs Department and FDI Danang Club co-organized the training workshop on "Updating legal documents on Tax and Customs Policies". The workshop witnessed the attendance of representatives from related departments and more than 130 FDI enterprises operating in the city.

At the training workshop, the representatives from Department of Taxation and Department of Customs introduced on the legal documents relating to tax and customs policies, effective from May 9/2014, especially the Vietnam Customs Law 2014 No.54/2014/QH13 and other Circulars as well as Decrees on the reforms and simplifications of tax administrative procedures as well as tax declaration, invoice and refund; tax payment and deferment, etc.. Additionally, questions and concerns of enterprises related to the rights and obligations of the businesses were raised and tackled, most of which were related to such issues as VAT refund for overseas Vietnamese' s goods brought with upon exit ; tax declaration; import and export invoice handle for shipping of goods to domestic enterprises ; as well as the changes applied to the Corporate Welfare Fund etc…

The training workshop is expected to facilitate FDI enterprises operating in Da Nang in complying with the regulations on taxation and customs and efficiently carrying out their investment activities and operations in the city. The workshop is also held as one of the efforts of the city authority in achieving the objective of FDI investment promotion program in the period of 2013 - 2016 to provide the utmost timely and accurate information exchange channels for investors.
