In the morning of September 5th, 2014 at Office of Danang Investment Promotion Center (IPC Danang), a working meeting between leaders of IPC Danang and leaders of Kawasaki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Japan) and Senshu University coming to Danang to investigate the investment environment and opportunities took place. This was the first delegation IPC Danang has welcomed since moving its office to the new address on 18F, Danang Administrative Center.
At the meeting, Mr. Lam Quang Minh, Director of IPC Danang, emphasized the friendship and cooperative relationship in economic, cultural and social fields between Danang City and Kawasaki City in recent years. He also highly valued the effectiveness of investment projects of Japanese enterprises as well as contribution by Japanese FDI enterprises to economic development, job creation and enhancement of labour quality of the city. At the same time, he also introduced the investment environment, competitive advantages of Danang City as well as priority of the city for investment in ICT, hi-tech industries and incentives for enterprises investing in these fields.
During discussion, members of the delegation raised several questions in relation to the potentials of trade and investment growth along East West Economic Corridor, Japanese-speaking high quality human resources of the city and incentives for hi-tech projects.
