Co-organised by the University of Science and Technology - the University of Da Nang and the Viet Nam Construction Association, the event attracted 300 domestic and foreign scientists.
During the conference, participants shared research results on the application of new technologies and solutions in the field of construction, with a focus on 5 main topics: structural engineering and bridge works; road and traffic engineering; AI, IoT and automation in traffic; advanced building materials; geoengineering and environmental geoengineering.
Besides, they discussed and found solutions towards the goal of applying digital technology in green and sustainable development for transport infrastructure in the context of increasingly extreme climate change.
The event provided the good opportunity for managers to improve their understanding, and develop policies and new development mechanisms for Da Nang; as well as meet the requirements in the strategy of sustainable transport infrastructure development.
