By 2025, support will be given to at least 120 objects in the registration of intellectual property protection; at least 50% of the total products will be ‘One Commune, One Product’ (OCOP), science and technology (S&T), typical commercial, rural industrial and supporting ones.

The number of applications for the registration of patents, industrial designs, trademarks and plant varieties in the 2021 - 2025 period is expected to increase by about 1.5 times as compared to the 2016 - 2020 period, in which the number of applications for registration brands will go up by an average of 10%/year.

By 2030, the rate of commercial exploitation of inventions will have reached at least 10% of the number of patents granted with protection titles, and more than 90% of the total products will be OCOP, S&T, typical commercial, rural industrial and supporting ones.

The estimated funding from S&T development sources to implement the task of developing intellectual property in the 2022 - 2025 period is about VND 20.1 billion.
