The event was attended by the Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Governor of Tochigi province Fukada Tomikazu, along with the leaders of several Vietnamese localities including Da Nang and other large enterprises of Tochigi province.
At the discussion session, The Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh (4th from left to right) stated that Da Nang City and Tochigi province have a lot of possibilities to connect and cooperate based on the strengths, similarities and development orientations between the two localities. The Chairman requested Governor Fukada Tomikazu to support the cooperation and promote the image of Da Nang City and requested businesses within the Tochigi province to investigate the possibility for investment into Da Nang Hi-Tech Park. At the same time, he also suggested Tochigi province to introduce some local small and medium-sized enterprises to cooperate and facilitate technology transfer with Da Nang city to develop supporting industries, in order to meet the demand for components supply and accessories of Japanese companies that are investing in Da Nang City and in the central region.
Governor Fukada Tomikazu once paid a working visit to Da Nang in December 2019 and suggested the idea of introducing job opportunities in Tochigi province to Da Nang students. The University of Da Nang and other member schools have widely promoted and introduced related information to students. Also during this occasion, Chairman Le Trung Chinh asked the two localities to strengthen cultural exchange activities to promote friendly cooperation in the coming time.
