- Location of duty-free shops:

+ In the isolated areas of international road border gates, international intermodal rail stations and seaports of class 1; in the isolated and restricted areas of an international civil airport;

+ In domestic area;

+ On aircraft carrying international flights of airlines established and operating under the laws of Vietnam;

+ Duty-free warehouse is located at the same location with the duty-free shop or located in an isolated area, a restricted area or a border-gate area or within the area of ​​customs operation in areas except for the border gate in Article 8 of Decree 01/2015 / ND-CP and Clause 3 Article 1 of Decree 12/2018 / ND-CP.

- Having software meeting the online data storage and output management requirements for the customs authority about the name, type, quantity, condition of the goods, time where the goods are put in and out, store in duty-free shops, duty-free warehouses, details are according to customs declarations and purchasers to manage according to the automatic goods management and supervision system.

- Having a camera system that meets online connection with the managing customs office. Images must be observed at all locations of duty-free warehouses, duty-free shops, pick-up counters in quarantine at all times of the day (24/24 hours), data must be saved at least 06 months.

Application for the certificate of eligibility for trading in duty free goods

According to Decree 67/2020 / ND-CP, an application for a certificate of eligibility for trading in duty-free goods includes:

- A written request for a certificate of eligibility for trading in duty-free goods, made according to the Form No. 01 in the Appendix: 01 original.

- Business registration certificate or investment certificate or other documents specified in Clause 4, Article 81 of Decree No. 78/2015 / ND-CP: 01 photocopy.

- Design diagram of area, location of duty-free shops, duty-free warehouse, location of camera system installation: 01 photocopy.

- Certificate of eligibility for fire safety and firefighting issued by the police (except in an area recognized as eligible for fire prevention and fighting): 01 photocopy.
