The 47th ASEAN Banking Council Meeting, hosted by the Việt Nam Banks Association (VNBA), is scheduled to take place at Furama Resort in the central city of Đà Nẵng on November 23-24.

This major annual event of the regional banking community will be presented by banking associations of ASEAN countries including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia and Laos, as well as Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Singapore, along with Thailand and Việt Nam.

This is the third time the VNBA has held such a meeting, with the first one in 2000 and the second in 2007. 

The meeting will focus its discussions on topics such as sustainable financial development, financial inclusion, application of state-of-the-art technologies and human resource training, as well as propose cooperation initiatives and action plans. 

It is an excellent opportunity for participants and partners to share experiences and strengthen cooperation. — VNS
