Accordingly, the planned subdivision covers an area of 1,326.7 ha, extending over Hoa Cuong Bac Ward, Hoa Thuan Tay Ward in Hai Chau District; Thac Gian Ward, Chinh Gian Ward, Hoa Khe Ward, An Khe Ward, Thanh Khe Dong Ward, Thanh Khe Tay Ward in Thanh Khe District; Khue Trung Ward, Hoa Tho Dong Ward, Hoa Phat Ward in Cam Le District. The city has targeted to develop the Airport Subdivision into a specialized area with the function of becoming an important transportation hub of the city and an “Airport city”.

The subdivision is divided into 02 main regions, including urban construction area and Da Nang International Airport area, being organized into 04 development areas with 04 residential areas. Specifically, the urban construction area will cover 04 development areas with 04 residential areas, covering an area of 478.58 ha and a population of 77,000 people. The Da Nang International Airport area will be aligned with the project on Adjusted Master plan of Da Nang International Airport in the period 2021 – 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Da Nang People’s Committee also includes list of priortized projects in the Airport Subdivision related to urban area development, social infrastructure and technical infrastructure. The investment capital comes from the city budget, central budget, investment from businesses and other capital sources.
| According to the Adjusted Master Plan of Da Nang City until 2030, with a vision to 2045 approved by the Prime Minister at Decision 359/QD-TTg dated March 15, 2021, Da Nang City is planned into 02 economic belts and 12 zoning subdivisions. 02 economic belts are established based on Da Nang’s opportunities and limitations: Northern belt – High technology and marine, logistics belt; Southern belt – Innovation and High tech agriculture belt. 12 zoning subdivisions include Western ecological subdivision; Lien Chieu Port subdivision; Hillside urban subdivision; Eastern ecological subdivision; Hi-tech subdivision; Da Nang Bayside subdivsion; Green core center subdivision; Airport subdivision; Innovation subdivision; Subdivision along the Han River and the East Coast; Hi-tech agriculure division; Development reserve subdivision. |
