Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Ky Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, said that cumulatively to date, the city has 1,016 FDI projects with a total investment capital of over 4.2 billion USD, mainly focusing on manufacturing equipment, auto components, machinery, mechanics, garments, construction materials, information technology, services, restaurants, consulting,... FDI enterprises have been and are an important contributing role to the city's socio-economic development, especially in the fields of production and export of goods. These enterprises create jobs for workers, and significantly contribute to supporting the city's businesses participate in the global value chain and promote economic restructuring towards modern industry. The city government and functional departments commit to always accompany and be ready to support FDI enterprises in solving difficulties and problems related to administrative issues.

At the event, enterprises were given specific instructions from city departments on procedures and information about foreign investment, visas, foreigner management issues, and fire prevention, land, construction, taxes, customs procedures, import and export, work permits, projects calling for investment... The discussion was also held enthusiastically with more than 50 questions posed by enterprises, and representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment, City Police, Customs, Management Board of High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, City Tax Department, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Investment Promotion Agency addressed these enquiries in detail. The questions were mostly related to the issue of foreign investment capital registration, investment registration conditions for investors with foreign nationality, fire prevention and fighting regulations, tax declaration procedures, questions related to work permits for foreigners, investment incentive policies for projects calling for investment in the city...
The workshop on "Supporting and guiding necessary procedures for FDI enterprises in Da Nang City" is one of the city's regular activities to build an ideal investment environment for domestic and foreign businesses have been, are and will be investing in the city.
