Accordingly, the Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee directed relevant departments and agencies in the city to focus on implementing 4 main groups of tasks as follows:
- Regularly review projects that are delayed to implement, operate inefficiently, etc. to submit to competent authorities for project withdrawal and appropriate handling.
- Develop flexible investment support packages to attract large investment projects with spillover effects.
- Develop an annual plan to improve the City's Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI).
- Designing local brands/ identity images for the city’s investment promotion activities.
Decision No. 308/QD-TTg has also set out a system of specific and synchronous tasks for the central ministries/agencies. Some of the notable tasks are as follows:
- Researching the possibility of developing the Law on Venture Investment.
- Building a startup and innovation ecosystem based on the connection between the National Innovation Center, regional and local innovation centers, and enterprises. Connecting to the Network of Innovation Centers in the region and around the world.
- Building a database system on Vietnamese enterprises meeting the standards of being a supplier for foreign-invested enterprises in a number of specific industries.
- Develop a mechanism to manage investment promotion activities using the state budget; develop a set of criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of investment promotion activities.
- Researching policies responses to the global minimum tax and lessons learned with Vietnam.
- Researching policies to encourage enterprises to use Vietnamese talents abroad.
- Formulating a program to develop supporting industries for the period 2026 - 2035;
- Researching and creating policies to improve competitiveness, and provide an attractive environment to selectively attract foreign educational institutions to invest in and develop international education zones.
- Researching and proposing breakthrough solutions to attract the world's leading digital technology corporations (tech firms) to Vietnam, especially solutions to encourage investment in new technologies and services in the economy. number.
- Researching, building, and developing an ecosystem of concentrated information technology parks up to international standards to attract the world's leading technology corporations to invest, research, and develop.
