Within the framework of the city investment promotion program in 2015 and realizing the direction of Danang City's authority in regularly providing updated legal documents to FDI businesses in Danang city, on the morning of 23rd October, 2015, the training workshop on "Updating legal documents guiding the implementation of the Real Estate Business Law 2014 and the Housing Law 2014" was held by Danang Investment Promotion Center (IPC Danang).The workshop witnessed the attendance of representatives from related city departments, associations and nearly 100 domestic and international enterprises in Danang city.
At the training, Mr. Vu Van Phan – Deputy Director of the Department of Housing Management and Real Estate Market- Ministry of Construction briefed the major amendments of the Real Estate Business Law No. 66/2014/QH13 dated 25th November, 2014; the Decree No. 76/2015/ND-CP dated 10thththth September, 2015 detailing a number of articles of the Real Estate Business Law 2014 and the Housing Law No. 65/2014/2015 dated 25ththth November, 2015 which took effect since 1st July, 2015. Significant changes include the policy on opening the door to foreign entities and individuals to purchase residential properties in Vietnam, guarantee for sale or lease-sale of residential houses to be built in the future, legal capital requirements for real estate investors, etc..
At the Q&A session, representatives from the Department of Housing Management and Real Estate Market- Ministry of Construction also tackled questions and concerns raised by enterprises as well as the managerial agencies regarding the implementation and management of restriction on the total foreigner's house ownership for separate houses in a ward or condominium in an apartment building, the procedures on transfer of land and land-based assets, the obstacles regarding the management and operation of real estate transactions prior to 1st July, 2015 and the regulations for granting the real estate broker license to the foreigners, to name a few.
