In the morning of 16th November 2013, the seminar on Investment environment and opportunities in Danang city was held at Crowne Plaza Danang. The seminar witnessed Mr. Phung Tan Viet - Vice Chairman of Danang People's Committee, Mr. Vuong Huy, Director of Yinjiang JSC, leading the delegation from China comprising a variety of companies doing business in electronics, health and medicine, hi-tech, movies, logistics, etc. and representatives of related departments of Danang City.
Addressing the seminaropening speech, Vice Chairman Phung Tan Viet emphasized on the Vietnam – China comprehensive strategic partnership and friendship between two countries. He hoped that the seminar was an opportunity for Chinese enterprises capture the necessary information about the investment environment in Danang city, as a basis for investors to explore further potential investment and cooperation with the city. He expected to see stronger investment capital flow from China into Danang in fields such as tourism, trade, hi-tech, etc.
At the seminar, Mr. Truong Hao, Vice Director of Danang Investment Promotion Center introduced the comparative advantages of Danang in investment attraction and other information related to investment sites, investment costs and some incentives in Danang Hi-tech Park.
In the discussion, representatives of Chinese companies raised several questions about investment in land, health, logistics, quality inspection, renewable energy, etc. Companies attending the seminar all expressed optimism regarding positive growth in the number of Chinese tourists visiting Danang in recent years and booming trade between two countries.
