On November 6th, the UK parliamentary delegation led by the MP James Keith Chapman paid a coutersy visit to the Danang People's Committee to strengthen the relation between Danang and the UK in the fields of culture, education, investment and trade.
After introducing the city investment environment and its development orientation, Vice Chairman Phung Tan Viet suggested the MP should introduce potential UK enterprises to invest in the fields of healthcare, education, services, and especially hi-tech industries. He also hoped that the UK government would support disable and disadvantaged children in the cityand provide equipment and training for the medical staff of Danang Cancer Hospital to improve the efficacy of their practice.
The MP J.K. Chapman highly appreciated the rapid development of Danang and agreed with the suggestion of the Vice Chairman to improve the co-operation in culture, investment and trade. The members of the delegation pledged to promote Danang image to attract UK enterprises to seek for investment opportunities in Danang.
