Promoting infrastructure investment and site clearance
In 2025, Hoa Vang District sets a target for VND 3,790 billion in added value (VA), up 8.75%, of which the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector will generate VND 459 billion, up 8.77%, the industry – construction sector VND 1,455 billion, up 6.2%, and the service sector VND 1,876 billion, up 10.81%. The district strives to have no poor households according to the city's new poverty threshold and create jobs for 1,600 people.
With the motto of "telling people to understand, making people believe", the district has accelerated the progress of handing over the land for projects in the area.
Mr. Phan Van Ton, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Vang District, said that since the beginning of the year, the district has identified land clearance as a key task, so it has deployed tasks and worked with the Standing Committee of the municipal Party Committee to remove difficulties.
Thanks to that, the site clearance work in the district has achieved many positive results, especially for key and motivate projects such as the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway; National Highway 14B renovation and upgrade; the Quang Da bridge and its approach road; Western Ring Road; the Hoa Phong Commune Administrative Center; and the resettlement area of Hoa Bac Commune Center (phase 2).
The Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project, in particular, has received the attention and direction of the Prime Minister and the city leader, as well as support from Group 888 (the city’s support team for site clearance).
"With a clear orientation and synchronous solutions, Hoa Vang will complete the socio-economic development targets in 2025 and aim to become a town", Mr. Ton affirmed.

Accelerating urban and economic development
In Hai Chau District, the local government focuses on improving the inner-city traffic system, promoting socio-economic development and ensuring security and order.
Mr. Ha Ngoc Duc, Chief of Office of the Hai Chau District People's Committee, said that the district continued to effectively implement Conclusion No. 60-KL/TU of the Da Nang Party Committee on continuing to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU dated March 6, 2015 of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party Committee on the direction and tasks of developing Hai Chau District until 2020 and the following years.
Accordingly, key measures include increasing budget revenue, developing the night-time economy, promoting non-cash payments, and boosting the consumption of typical OCOP products. The district also implements policies on land management, and urban planning and implementation of the 2024 Land Law. The progress of basic construction works for 2025 is being accelerated.
Meanwhile, Lien Chieu District prioritises completing site clearance, and developing industrial parks and new urban areas. In 2024, the district's total retail sales and consumer service revenue rose by 13.5%, with budget revenue exceeding the estimate by 30%.
In 2025, the district aims for VA to increase by 8.42%, with total retail revenue reaching VND9,965 billion. To achieve the abovementioned target, the district strictly implements the direction of the Standing Board of the municipal Party Committee on preventing budget losses, promoting electronic invoices and coordinating the implementation of key projects such as Lien Chieu port, Hoa Khanh Nam industrial cluster, and Northwest Axis I road.
Mr. Hoang Thanh Hoa, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lien Chieu District, said that the district authorities will continue to persistently make recommendations to relevant departments, branches and sectors to promptly advise and report to the municipal People's Committee to consider and resolve difficulties in site clearance.
To improve the effectiveness of mobilization work, the district People's Committee strengthens close coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, and socio-political organizations of the district to propagate and mobilize people to comply with the land clearance policy.
Meanwhile, Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts pay attention to exploiting tourism strengths to attract domestic and international visitors. Son Tra District promotes the development of diverse tourism products, upgrades infrastructure, enhances tourism promotion and advertising. At the same time, local authorities focus on environmental protection and biodiversity conservation, as well as ensuring national security and defense for sustainable tourism development. Lien Chieu District promotes the development of Nam O community tourism, builds unique tourism products to attract tourists, and creates more jobs for local people.
In parallel with economic development, districts in Da Nang have been improving the quality of life of people. Programmes to upgrade housing for low-income people, public schools and hospitals are being implemented synchronously. With great determination, the authorities and people of districts in Da Nang are joining hands to realize the development goals for 2025. These efforts will create a solid foundation for the city to continue to develop sustainably, affirming its position as the socio-economic center of the Central Highlands region.
