With many drastic, synchronous, flexible and creative ways of doing things, all aspects of work have achieved many positive results.
In particular, the city has proactively advised and received the attention of the Central Government to issue many policies, mechanisms and strategies for the city's development in the coming time. Included are Conclusion No. 77-KL/TW of the Politburo on the Project "Plan to remove difficulties and obstacles related to projects and land in inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in a number of provinces and cities"; the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 79-KL/TW on continuing to implement Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 12th Politburo on building and developing Da Nang to 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 of the National Assembly on organising urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for Da Nang development; the Politburo’s Notice No. 47-TB/TW dated November 15, 2024 on building a regional financial center in Da Nang; and Special Resolution of the National Assembly on removing difficulties in the enforcement of inspection conclusions and judgments in three localities: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Khanh Hoa Province.
The city has systematically deployed and prepared for Party Congresses at all levels and the 23rd Congress of the municipal Party Committee. A total of 2,285 new Party members have been admitted, reaching a rate of 3.73% compared to the total number of Party members at the beginning of the year.
The city's economy has witnessed positive growth. Its GRDP in 2024 is estimated to increase by 7.51% over the same period, ranking 2nd among the 5 centrally-governed cities.
Some major economic sectors and fields have grown quite well, especially the service and tourism sectors as the number of international visitors to the city rose by more than 2.1 times compared to 2023. The industry - construction sector has grown dramatically, with a 14.77% increase in the 4th quarter of 2024 and a 7.69% increase for the whole year. The city’s total budget revenue is likely to reach VND 25,760 billion, exceeding 33.33% of the estimate assigned by the municipal People's Council and equal to 119.9% compared to the same period in 2023.
The construction progress of some driving force and key projects in the city have been accelerated.
Social security programmes have been maintained with many outstanding policies imbued with humanity. Political security, social order and safety in the city have been ensured.
