Regarding PGI, Da Nang ranks second after Quang Ninh. This demonstrates the ongoing efforts of the city in implement the orientation and policies of the Party and the Government in promoting administrative reforms, enhancing the quality of business environment, restructuring the economy, renovating the growth model and balancing between economic growth and protecting the sustanability of the environment, etc.

PCI rankings 2023 were announced according to the results of a survey of 8,000 businesses across the country. This is the 18th time the PCI report has been published. The PCI is designed to evaluate the ease of doing business, economic governance, and the effectivenss of administrative reform efforts by provincial-level governments across Viet Nam while asserting Viet Nam's attractiveness through investors' assessments and reflects expectations about reform efforts in the near future. PGI was first started in 2022 with the aim to promote the cooperation between the business community and provincial-level governments in the implementation of important policies and orientations of the Party and the Government in addressing global challenges, including issues related to climate change and environmental protection. |
