Ms. Huynh Lien Huong briefly introduced the environment and investment opportunities in Da Nang city. In the coming time, the city hopes to attract investment in the field of high technology, semiconductor chips, etc. from Germany. Currently, there are only about 10 German FDI projects in Da Nang city, reaching nearly 11 million USD, focusing heavily on tourism, restaurants, and hotels; There is 01 construction project and 01 information technology project. Compared to the scale of the German economy and what Da Nang city can satisfy investors, the potential for cooperation between the city and German businesses and investors is still large. Short film interviews about the feelings of German investors who have invested in Da Nang city show that German investors highly appreciate the city's infrastructure so that German investors can confidently invest. As well as Da Nang city, it is a friendly and convenient place for Germans to work and live. Appreciating the potential for cooperation with German partners, the Investment PromotionAgency signed a Memorandum of Understanding on investment promotion cooperation with the Association of German Businesses in Vietnam (GBA Vietnam) to create Conditions to best support businesses and investors when researching and implementing projects in Da Nang city. Information about the environment and investment opportunities of Da Nang city is also translated into German to serve investors.

Representative of the delegation, Ms. Hoffmann Katrin shared about the Association, the city of Chemnitz and the state of Saxony. The Saxony State Industrial Association was established in 1828, with 130 industrial enterprises (including 260 members, the total number of employees in member enterprises is 50,000 people). The city of Chemnitz, once called the city of Karl Marx, with 245,000 residents is the third largest city in the state of Saxony, located in East Germany. Therefore, the city in general and the whole state in particular have a traditional relationship of friendship and cooperation with Vietnam. For example, the state's New Energy Research Center only recruits foreign workers in Vietnam and Chile. In addition, the state Polytechnic University has a cooperative relationship with the University of Technical Education, University of Danang. In particular, more than 200 - 300 students from Nguyen Van Troi College have been recruited to work in the state in many fields. Many workers recruited after working in Germany have returned to Vietnam with German businesses. This shows the indirect influence of technical labor cooperation with investment promotion on the basis of the ecosystem: training facilities - workers - business community.
In the upcoming year 2025, the city of Chemnitz will be honored as a European city of culture, thousands of large and small events will take place to celebrate this event. On this occasion, Ms. Hoffmann Katrin hopes to invite the Vietnamese delegation to visit the state of Saxony. On behalf of the Investment Promotion Agency, Ms. Huynh Lien Phuong expressed her thanks to the delegation, looked forward to welcoming many state businesses to Da Nang and will report and propose to the City People's Committee about visiting and working in Saxony.
