Mrs. Katz-Tsameret, Vice President of Intel expressed her impression to the socio-economic stability of Viet Nam. With an abundant and talented workforce, Viet Nam is considered as an appealing investment destination of many multinational corporations like Intel. Intel Products Vietnam is the largest of Intel's four assembly and testing factories.
During the meeting, leaders of Intel Corporation introduced to the delegation the technology solutions Intel is developing to promote the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) and the development of "Siliconomy" (an economy powered by semiconductors and software). Intel is currently implementing the Intel Digital Readiness Program to empower non-technical audiences with the appropriate skillsets, mindsets, toolsets, and opportunities to use technology to exploit the potential of the economy.
City Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quang highly appreciated Intel's contributions to improving people's digital capabilities and promoting the digital transformation process in developing countries around the world. He underlined that digital transformation is one of the 05 priority areas for development of Da Nang City. Da Nang approaches human-centric digital transformation, investing in training programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning, promoting digital literacy, and empowering people with the right digital tools and resources. Mr. Quang expressed his hope that Intel would soon deploy the Intel Digital Readiness Program in Da Nang, helping the city to achieve its digital transformation goal by 2030 of completing construction of smart cities, synchronously connecting with urban networks in the country and the ASEAN region. He also urged Intel to consider Da Nang as a destination for business expansion in Viet Nam.
