The city was honoured with four smart solutions, specifically ‘Database platform and specialised State management software for shared use at district level’; ‘solution model for providing advanced public services’; ‘parking monitoring system’; and ‘4D digital map application in traffic infrastructure management’.
The remaining 6 units honoured in the category of ‘State Agency with Excellent Digital Transformation’ were the Southern Region Hydro-Meteorological Centre, the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Tri Province, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hung Yen Province, the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Phuoc Province, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong Province, and the People's Committee of Lang Son Province.
Also at the awards ceremony, the organising board honoured 20 excellent digital technology products, services, and solutions; 2 digital transformation products and solutions for the community; and 9 excellent digital transformation businesses and units.
VDA is the leading and most prestigious award programme for digital transformation in Viet Nam.
The annual event is organised under the chairmanship of the Viet Nam Digital Communications Association (VDCA) and under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Launched on April 18, the organisers of VDA 2023 approached more than 3,000 agencies, organisations, and businesses nationwide, receiving nearly 350 nomination dossiers.
After six years of organisation, VDA has attracted more than 16,000 agencies and businesses in 63 Vietnamese localities, along with about 1,800 entries, honouring around 400 typical digital transformation initiatives and excellent digital transformation agencies and organisations.
