The Seminar took place within the framework of a field trip to collect information and proposals for the National Research Project chaired by Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu with the theme "The current situation of the world in the period 2025-2045: Forecast and orientation of Vietnam's foreign policy".
Organized into 2 sessions, the Seminar revolved around the current situation of foreign affairs and international integration in Da Nang and collected opinions and proposals related to foreign affairs and international integration of Da Nang city in the fields of politics, national defense, security, economy, culture and society.

Speaking at the talk, Mr. Le Dinh Tinh, Director of the Foreign Policy Department, stated that Da Nang city is a typical locality for a pioneering and successful story of international integration, cultural diplomacy and is an appropriate case study for the National Research Project. Through the Seminar, Mr. Le Dinh Tinh would like to listen to the actual situation of foreign affairs and international cooperation in the city as well as difficulties, limitations, and suggestions for consideration, research, and integration into the National Research Project.
Attending the Seminar were representatives from functional departments, agencies and units, including: Department of Foreign Affairs, Da Nang Border Guard, City Police, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Information and Communications, Investment Promotion Agency, Danang Tourism Association, Duy Tan University, etc. The delegates took turns to give speeches on topics such as politics integration; security and safety assurance in a fluctuated world; border protection, territorial sovereignty and defense diplomacy; positioning Da Nang as an attractive destination in the wave of foreign investment shifting; promoting safe and sustainable Da Nang tourism after the pandemic.
The delegates raised the reality as well as proposed some solutions related to the topics of discussion. Comments focused on the necessity of strengthening economic diplomacy to coordinate investment promotion and trade, open more flights, need more mechanisms and policies to highlight the role of Danang city.
