Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Tuesday hosted Mr Tran Ngoc Phuc, his Japanese name of Kazufuku Nitta, the Chairman of Metran Company on the occasion of his working visit to the city.

During his meeting with the Da Nang Party Chief, Metran Company Chairman Tran Ngoc Phuc said that the company boasts more than 40 years of experience in producing high-tech medical equipment in Japan. The company's high-end medical devices are now being used at more than 90% of pediatric centres in Japan and many countries around the world, thereby significantly contributing to reducing mortality rate in premature babies.
In Viet Nam, Metran opened a subsidiary, called Metran Vitec Co., Ltd, in Binh Duong Province in 2012. The subsidiary specialises in manufacturing high-tech medical devices, such as ventilators, oxygen concentrators, positive pressure ventilators, and high flow breathing ventilators.
Metran Vitec company’s products are exported to such countries as Japan, Indonesia, India, and Hong Kong, as well as directly consumed in Viet Nam.
Metran Company Chairman Tran Ngoc Phuc said the company wants to put its money into high-tech medical equipment project in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, and asked for support from the city’s leaders to facilitate the deployment of Metran’s project in the locality.
Mr Quang congratulated Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc, and Metran Company as a whole, on his success in business and its achievements respectively. He also affirmed that Da Nang is giving high priority to attracting investment into hi-tech healthcare field.
The Da Nang top leader remarked that the municipal government is very interested in Metran Company’s project to be carried out in the city, and pledged that the Municipal Administration would create the most favourable conditions for Metran Company to deploy its project.
Secretary Quang asked the Authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks to work with the municipal Investment Promotion and Business Support Centre to provide support for Metran Company in a bid to facilitate its early deployment of its project in the city.
