In the programme, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dai - Head of Investment Management, Promotion and Support Division- Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority presented on the High-Tech Park and the Concentrated Information Technology Park. Da Nang Hi-Tech Park is the only high-tech park in the Central and Central Highlands of Vietnam and is one of the three national multi-functional high-tech parks with the orientation of developing into a an international innovative, scientific and technological urban area with high competitiveness. Da Nang Hi-Tech Park has an area ofover 1,128.4 hectares, containing 6 functional subdivisions, prioritizing investment in 6 areas: Information technology – communication, informatics software; new material technology, nanotechnology, new energy; automation and precision mechanics; environmental technology, petrochemicals technology; microelectronics, mechatronics and optoelectronics technology; and biotechnology.
The Concentrated Information Technology Park (phase 1) has an area of 131 hectares and implements the activities of Research & Development, IT application and transfer. Currently, the IT Park phase 1 has completed its infrastructure with a total investment of more than 666 billion VND, with 01 project in operation and 03 projects granted investment registration certificates.

Regarding Lien Chieu Port, according to Mr. Le Thanh Hung, Director of the Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects, Lien Chieu Port is one of the three deep-water seaports of Vietnam, with a planned area of about 450 hectares, and is oriented to be the largest container port in Central Vietnam serving the inter-regional and national socio-economic development with a scale to receive general ships and bulk cargoes of up to 100,000 tons, and container ships with capacity from 6,000 to 8,000 TEUs. Located at the end of the East-West Economic Corridor, connecting 4 countries including Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, Lien Chieu Port is the main gateway to the East Sea for the whole region with convenient and multilateral traffic connections of road, railway, seaway and airway and is an important element in the logistics service chain of Central Vietnam.
Lien Chieu Port Construction Investment Project contains 2 components. The Shared Infrastructure Component already has the investment policy approved by the Prime Minister with a total investment of about 3,426.3 billion VND from the central and local government budget, including: Dike and breakwater: 1170m; Ship channel: 7.25km long, 160m wide, bottom elevation: -14m; Vessel turning basin and signaling system for ships up to 100,000DWT (6,000-8,000 Teus); Road transport connecting to the Port; Power and water supply infrastructure and synchronized auxiliary works to the Port gate. The implementation period is from 2021 to 2025. The Private Investment Component includes the port construction with a total area of 45.45ha for two 750m long wharfs.

Participants was also given a speech by Mr. Tran Thanh Truc, Director of Da Nang Information Technology Infrastructure Development Centre on the Software Park No. 2. Software Park No. 2 has a total construction area of 28,573m2, with a total investment of 986 billion VND, providing about 6000 direct jobs in information technology and digital technology. Software Park No. 2 started construction on October 10, 2020; By May 2022, the value of the execution volume is estimated at 598.4 billion, equivalent to 85% of the contract value with 3 work items: The ICT1 building has 8 floors with construction floor area of 39,297 m2 and is expected to have its premises handed over to the lessor for construction on October 31, 2022 and complete to be put into use on December 31, 2022. After the inauguration of the ICT1 building, the ICT2 Building with 8 floors and construction floor area of 27,220 m2 together with the ICT Building with 20 floors and construction floor area of 26,267 m2 will continue to be built and put into use accordingly. Mr. Nguyen Huu Hinh, Director of Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Projects also guided the delegation during their visit to the Park.
