The Company delegation was led by Mr. Park In Sung, Vice President of LG Vehicle Solution and attended by Mr. Jung Seung Min, Director of VS Development Center Viet Nam and Mr. Lee Jong Wook, Director of VS Development Center Da Nang. On the city side were representatives of the Department of Investment and Planning, Department of Information and Communication, Management Board of Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects and Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency.

The meeting aimed to exchange the performance results and upcoming operation plan of LG Vehicle Solution Company in Da Nang city, exchange information on development direction of the city in IT fields and preferential policies for R&D field.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Park In Sung - Vice President of LG Vehicle Solution acknowledged LG Group's rapid growth in terms of scale in research and development activities in the city and expressed its desire to expand operations here.
In response to Mr. Park In Sung, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Vice Chairman of Da Nang city People’s Committee highly appreciated the initiative in the operation of the Vehicle Component Solutions – Development Center Da Nang. Along with the efforts of the Company and the support from the relevant authorities, after more than 1 year of operation, the Center has achieved very respectable results. The presence of LG brand in Da Nang has been having a positive influence on the investment environment of the city. The city commits to continue to support and accompany the Company to create the most favorable conditions for the Company to expand research investment activities in Da Nang.
LG Group presents gift to the City People's Committee
Earlier, on the basis of the expansion plan to expand R&D operations in Vietnam of LG Electronics Viet Nam Hai Phong Co., Ltd and in order to implement the content of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Vehicle Component Solutions – Development Center Vietnam and Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency, the Company has leased the DITP Building on the 11th and 12th floors as the office headquaters to implement the Company’s R&D project in Da Nang. More than 01 year of operation, LG Vehicle Component Solutions Development Center Da Nang attracts and creates jobs for more than 200 employees, in which software engineers is 190 people, accounting for 95%, expected to reach 500 employees in 2023. The total number of solutions research and development projects reached 44 projects on both branches in Ha Noi and Da Nang.
