Attending the meeting were representatives of the Department of Construction, Department of Transportation, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects, Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company and Middle Airport Authority. The Dutch Delegation led by Mr. Daniel Stork, Consul General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh city and attended by 12 Dutch companies interested in investing in the city.
The meeting aimed to provide information to Dutch businesses about potential investment opportunities in Da Nang in many fields, especially transport and environment. The two sides discussed the possibility of cooperation in key projects that the city is calling for investment such as Lien Chieu port project, Da Nang airport expansion project, airport urban area and projects in the field of environment.
On the same day, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Le Quang Nam and governmental Departments had a courtesy meeting with the Consul General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City and Dutch businesses, then witnessed the Signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Signify Vietnam Company and Da Nang Public Lighting Joint Stock Company.
Earlier on the afternoon of March 24, 2022, within the framework of the delegation's visit and work, Dutch businesses participated in the Da Nang – Dutch Business Matching event to connect and promote business activities with Da Nang businesses operating in areas such as commerce, investment funds, smart lighting, education, environmental technical consulting, industry, manufacturing, goods, etc. marine, logistics, sustainable design and business consulting.
