On January 24, 2019, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW on building and developing Da Nang City until 2030, with a vision to 2045. The Resolution outlines hi-tech industry as one of the three main pillars of the city's economy, giving priority to ICT industry associated with the digital economy. Accordingly, Da Nang government has identified digital transformation as the driving force for the development of the city in all aspects, including governance, economy and society, contributing to the city's goal of building a smart city, synchronously connecting with smart urban networks in the country and in the ASEAN region by 2030.
