Voters in Da Nang will elect 6 representatives to the Da Nang Delegation of NA Deputies from 10 candidates, and 52 deputies to the Da Nang People's Council from 89 nominatees.

The city leaders attended the opening ceremony of the 2021 general election, and practised their citizenship to cast their ballots.
Preliminary assessment of the 2021 general election made by the Da Nang leaders indicates that opening ceremonies took place at all 525 polling stations across the city, the election was held in time, started from 7am, and it is expected to end at 7pm today, May 23.
The functional forces staffing at polling stations across the city have already developed a COVID-19 preparedness and response plan in order to protect the safety of voters while ensuring the success of the election.
All voters are required to declare their health conditions before going to the polls on Sunday, strictly follow the 5K recommendations of the Vietnamese Health Ministry, namely khau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering), and khai bao y te (health declaration), and stay compliant with the city’s COVID-19 regulations in order to protect themselves and others from coronavirus, as well as reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
Da Nang has conducted “one-door one test” campaign and COVID-19 testing for all personnel staffing at all polling stations before Election Day.
In recent days, Da Nang has got the COVID-19 outbreak under controll, thereby helping voters across Da Nang feel secure and safe to go to the polls on the General Election Day.
