In detail, the hi-tech industry features four projects. Three of them, located at the Hi-Tech Park, are involved in aerospace technology with an investment of 10-15 million US$/ ha, in the robotics design and manufacturing technology with an investment of 8-15 million US$/ ha, in the chip and biosensor manufacturing with an investment of 10-15 million US$/ ha, respectively. The remaining one produces electricity from solar energy.
In the hi-tech agriculture, there are seven projects located in suburban Hoa Vang District.
As for the environment-related aspect, there is a daily solid waste treatment plant in Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes/ day, an estimated registered investment capital of 3,000 billion VND, and the deployment duration of 2020 - 2022.
There are ten projects in the transport, infrastructure and logistics sector. Prominent among them are parking venues in the heart of the city, exactly at 10 Ly Thuong Kiet, 19 Le Hong Phong, and the end of the Nguyen Van Troi pedestrian bridge, and others in Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts.
Besides, there are the Lien Chieu deep-sea mega-port, the relocation of the Da Nang Railway Station and urban redevelopment in Thanh Khe, Lien Chieu, Hai Chau districts with a total estimated investment of 12,636 billion VND, a 3.7km, 8,228 billion VND tunnel through Da Nang International Airport, a massive public transportation system featuring metros and tramways worth 54,500 billion VND in total, a metro line connecting Da Nang and Hoi An valued at 7,497 - 14,995 billion VND.
With regard to IT and industrial infrastructure sectors, there are ten projects. In the spotlight are the second stage of the Hoa Cam Industrial Park (IP) with a planed area of 120ha and a cost of 2,232 billion VND, the 400ha, 6,083 billion VND Hoa Ninh IP, the 360h, 5,657 billion VND Hoa Nhon IP and the 150,926m2 Cam Le District-based Hoa Xuan creative space.
There are 11 projects in the tourism, service and trade sectors. Notable are the international marina, the conversion of the Tien Sa port into a tourism serving port, the 400 billion VND Bach Dang - Nguyen Van Troi - Tran Hung Dao pedestrian promenade, a 3ha, over 910 billion VND underground shopping and entertainment centre at the Son Thuy beach, Ngu Hanh Son District, a horse racing track and stud farm in Lien Chieu and Hoa Vang districts with a total area of 173.5 ha and a total cost of 4,554 billion VND, a 61,767m2 commercial finance, entertainment, casino and luxury apartment building complex in Son Tra District, a smart urban and non-tariff complex in Hoa Vang District, the 30.9ha, 817 billion VND Hoa Phuoc wholesale market and the 2.45ha Con Market Trade Centre.
As for the education and training sector, there are six key projects, including the 2,741,125m2, 1,138 billion VND Hoa Vang District-based International University, a Hoa Vang District-based, 40,000m2 and 1,000 billion VND junior college for skilled labour training meeting international and regional standards..
There are four projects in the healthcare sector, including an international-standard, high-quality, 500-bed oncology centre at the Lien Chieu District-based Cancer Hospital with a total expense of 11,000 billion VND, and a 10,840m2, of 500 billion VND elderly care centre in Hoa Xuan Ward, Cam Le District.
The culture – sports aspect comprise four projects, notably the 2,000 billion VND Ngu Hanh Son Cultural and Historical Park, the 1,295,389m2, 4,377 billion VND Hoa Xuan Sports Complex and the 5,000 billion VND Da Nang Opera House.
