
Attending the ceremony were Chairman Huynh Duc Tho City People's Committee, Vice Chairman of Ho Ky Minh City People's Committee, Mr. Ahn Min Sik - Consul General of Korea in Da Nang, Mr. Lee Sungnyung - Director of Korea Trade - Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in Da Nang with leaders of city departments and agencies.
According to this MOU, the Investment Promotion Agency and the Vehicle Components Solutions - Development Center in Vietnam (LG Electronics Vietnam Hai Phong Company Limited) will jointly promote research and development (R&D) in the city of Da Nang.
Specifically, the Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency will be the focal point to support the Center for the Development of vehicle components solutions in Vietnam (the Center) to study and build a R&D center; assist LG Group member companies, R&D centers, satellite manufacturers, and subsidiary manufacturers of LG Group to survey and invest in Da Nang city.
The Center for the Development of vehicle components solutions in Vietnam will cooperate closely with Da Nang city, especially training institutions, higher education institutions and colleges in the development of technological human resources. At the same time, the Center will introduce and promote the city's investment and business environment and opportunities for cooperation and investment to member companies of LG Group.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the City People's Committee Huynh Duc Tho highly appreciated the cooperation between the Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency and The Center for the Development of vehicle components solutions in Vietnam, at the same time believes that the MOU will be the premise for the investment cooperation between LG Vietnam and Da Nang.

Singapore, the United States and the British Virgin Islands. Korean investors' projects focus on the service and real estate sectors.
