The ground-breaking ceremony of Sunshine Aerospace Components Manufacturer took place on March 29, 2019. Covering an area of 11 ha out of a total area of 17 ha, the manufacturer completed in phase 1 specializes in producing, surface treating and assembling spare parts used in aviation industry with AS9100 standards. Phase 2 of the project is expected to complete in April 2023 for the expansion of manufacturing finished aviation components and producing composite materials. The manufacturer will have a capacity of 12,470 tonnes/ year after completion.
Founded in 1961, UAC Company, a member of Montana Tech Componants Corporation, is one of the global leading aviation components suppliers for aviation industy giants, such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier and Embraer. UAC is also one of the largest worldwide producers of aluminium alloy used in manufacturing aircrafts. The project Sunshine Aerospace Components Manufacturer of UAC Viet Nam is one of the biggest achievements of investment attraction activities in Da Nang over the past time and is expected to play a key role in shaping an aerospace components supply chain in the city, creating a momentum for the development of the city hi-tech industry.
