The groundbreaking ceremony for the project
The work is slated to be completed within 300 days following the commencement of construction.
It is known that, the Da Nang People's Committee approved the detailed 1:500 planning map for the construction of the housing project on 21 September 2018.
Accordingly, the building is located in Cam Le District’s Hoa Tho Tay Ward. It is bounded by a driving test centre to the west, the street No 3 to the east, and vacant land lots to the south and the north.
The project will cover a total area of 27,755m². Of this, 6,827m2 will be earmarked for the construction of the building, whilst 20,755m² will be designated for internal roads and green space.
The project will feature eight 5-storey blocks offering a sum of 790 single and 25 double rooms, providing accommodations for as many as 1,680 workers.
In addition, there will be mini supermarkets, kindergartens, a parking area, technical infrastructure, sports areas, and more.
The 198 billion VND project will be divided into 2 stages.
The 1st stage of the project will feature three 5-storey blocks with 278 single and 7 double rooms, providing accommodations for around 584 workers.
There will also be 3 communal rooms, a kindergarten, a medical room, the 1st phase of parking area.
The construction of the 1st phase will cost 70 billion VND which will be funded by the city budget.
Meanwhile, the 2nd stage of the project will comprise five 5-storey blocks, the 2nd phase of parking area, mini supermarkets, a kindergarten, and other facilities.
The construction cost of the 2nd stage is expected to be around 128 billion VND which will come from the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour.
In his remarks at the event, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh urged the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour - the project’s developer, and construction units to ensure the on-scheduled progress, and to secure the quality and the aesthetic standards of the whole project.
