The event was hosted by Vice Chairman - Ho Ky Minh with the participation of representatives from IPA Da Nang, Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority, and the Association of Taiwan Business in Da Nang. The program has attracted the participation of nearly 100 potential investors and businesses online in Taiwan.
As part of a series of online investment promotion events, this webinar focused on introducing the environment and investment opportunities of Da Nang to Taiwanese investors. Taiwan is one of the key markets for trade and investment promotion with capacity and experience in the fields of high technology, information technology, and high-quality services. As of June 2020, the city has 19 investment projects of Taiwanese investors with a total registered capital of more than 75 million USD.
Da Nang city has been preparing the necessary conditions to attract the wave of investment capital shift after the pandemic. At the webinar, IPA Da Nang introduced a number of opportunities, sectors calling for investment and preferential investment policies of the city. Taiwanese investors such as Dong Nguyen Co., Ltd., SYM Taiwan, who have been operating in Da Nang, also shared some investment experiences in the city. The webinar has answered many questions on investment opportunities and sectors in Da Nang, particularly on hi-tech park and industrial parks.
Da Nang government commits to create the best conditions for investors to implement their projects and business activities in the city and is expected to welcome Taiwanese investors to deploy projects in Da Nang in the near future.
