The event to connect businesses on both sides was organized by the delegation of the Minister of the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic on the afternoon of September 11, 2023, with the participation of leaders of the People's Committee of Da Nang city, the Czech Embassy in Vietnam, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Czech and 17 businesses in the Czech Republic accompanied the delegation.
The event attracted nearly 50 business associations and businesses in Da Nang to connect in the fields of environment, water management and treatment, energy, production of aluminum materials, aluminum alloys, pharmaceuticals, and logistics and information technology.

He hopes that, in the coming time, many Czech businesses will consider Vietnam as their second home.

He hoped that Minister Petr Hladik would pay attention and support Da Nang city in promoting the image of the city's investment and business environment to partners and investors in the Czech Republic. The city government is committed to creating the best conditions for Czech investors to feel secure in investing and doing business in Da Nang, affirming that Da Nang is one of the top investment destinations in Vietnam.
Before that, the delegation had a reception and working session with the Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee on the same morning at the City Administrative Center. Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh said that Da Nang is currently implementing the project "Building Da Nang - an environmental city" achieving many important results in environmental protection, contributing to the general development of the city, this is the strength of the Czech Republic's businesses and organizations. Therefore, in the coming time, the two sides have a lot of room to promote cooperation in the fields of environment, circular economy, green economy, low carbon and Czech partners can support the city of Da Nang to achieve sustainable development targets by 2030.
