In addition to being held at the City Administrative Center, the conference took place online on the Zoom platform with the participation of guests from Vietnamese innovation networks, business associations, and businesses, enterprises, investment funds, and investors interested in the field of artificial intelligence come from a number of countries such as the United States, Japan, Korea, Australia, etc.

This conference is one of the preparation events for other international cooperation in the near future between the city and partners in investment promotion and development of artificial intelligence in Da Nang. Accordingly, the Conference aims at 3 goals: (1) Introducing the potential, advantages, investment opportunities, preferential policies, and investment support of Da Nang city in the field of artificial intelligence ( AI) to enterprises and investors; (2) Attracting and connecting investment resources to the city, creating conditions to promote the development of the AI industry; (3) Creating a forum for city departments, scientists, Da Nang city enterprises and domestic and foreign partners in the field of artificial intelligence to have the opportunity to meet, connect and exchange experiences and solutions. At the same time, creating opportunities to cooperate, conduct business, and expand markets between enterprises and enterprises, enterprises and training facilities operating in the field of artificial intelligence in Da Nang and globally.
Delivering the opening remarks at the Conference, Mr. Le Hoang Phuc, Deputy Director of Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency, said that information technology, digital economy, and digital transformation are identified as one of the five spearheads for Da Nang's economic development to 2030 and beyond. In terms of FDI investment, there are more than 1,000 projects from 45 countries and territories with a total investment value of more than 4.1 billion USD invested in Da Nang. In which, the information technology sector only attracted 25 million USD, accounting for a relatively modest proportion. Meanwhile, the potential for developing information technology in general and AI in particular in Da Nang is still very large when there is a full network of schools and institutes training human resources; have an innovative startup network; and the presence of many large information technology enterprises.

Representating the Department of Information and Communications to deliver a speech on the topic "Potentials and policies to promote the development of artificial intelligence in Da Nang city", Mr. Nguyen Van Quoc, Director of the Center for Information and Communications The City Intelligent Operations Supervisor (IOC) said that the city government has made public an open data portal includes economic, social, and labor statistics, etc. that provided by governmental agencies and departments to serve the purpose of collecting and analyzing data of the domestic and international artificial intelligence business community, aiming to form a data warehouse for artificial intelligence. The city is also currently posing a number of problems and proposals to the business community, investors and training institutions in the field of artificial intelligence, opening up many opportunities for stronger cooperation and promoting development for the city's information technology industry.
