Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh welcomed and highly appreciated the investment interest of Japanese enterprises in Da Nang city in the medical field, requesting the authorities to support investors in introducing investment locations, guiding related procedures, conditions and incentives to promote the project.

At the meeting, functional departments and units of Da Nang city provided information on the environment and investment opportunities in the city as well as relevant legal regulations to deploy investment activities in health care sector in Da Nang. After the meeting, the delegation visited Da Nang Hospital and the locations introduced for research to invest in international hospital and nursing home project.
Currently, Japan is the first country in terms of the total number of projects and enterprises investing in Da Nang city with the number of projects reaching more than 200 projects, the total investment capital is up to 1 billion USD, ranking first in more than 40 countries and territories investing in Da Nang. FDI projects focus mainly on components manufacturing, equipment, processing, IT, services and tourism. Currently, Japanese enterprises have created jobs for more than 40,000 employees.
