The focus of the visit in the Netherlands is to exchange experiences on planning and operation of seaports and the environment with the Port of Rotterdam management agency, as well as to introduce the project and the maritime infrastructure items of the Lien Chieu Port to attract investors looking for investment opportunities in Lien Chieu Port.
The meeting of two sides
The Port of Rotterdam is considered to be the largest deep-sea port in Europe, and the sixth largest in the world in terms of the annual volume of goods transshipped through the Port. In 2021, the total volume of goods passing through the port of Rotterdam will reach 486.7 million tons, with about 154 million tons of containers and over 283 million tons of bulk cargo handled at the port. The direct and indirect value added of the Port of Rotterdam is €63 billion. This figure represents 8.2% of the Dutch GDP.

Vietnam is one of the key markets of Boskalis. Site-visiting the port
