The Austrian Embassy's trade delegation in Vietnam was led by Mr. Dietmar Schwank, Commercial Counselor, Embassy of Austria in Vietnam.
Ms. Huynh Lien Phuong introduced the environment and investment opportunities in many fields in Da Nang city. Currently, the first figures of Austrian investors in Da Nang are still quite limited (as of August 2022, there were only 3 projects with about 170,000 USD, focusing in the fields of consulting, design, market research). Therefore, the Investment Promotion Agency wishes to promote attracting businesses and investors from Austria to Da Nang city.

Mr. Dietmar Schwank said that Da Nang is a potential market for Austrian businesses to invest. He affirmed that Da Nang has a favorable location, synchronously developed infrastructure, trained human resources, a favorable living environment and clarity and transparency in administrative work. These are the prerequisites for Austrian investors to choose to invest in Da Nang city.
