The aforementioned instructions were made by Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Ho Ky Minh at the Monday event on the announcement of Decision No. 892/QD-TTg dated June 8, 2021 adopted by the Prime Minister and the management of the centralised Da Nang IT Park by the DHPIZA.
The DHPIZA shall, within its competence, coordinate with other relevant agencies to boost the construction of technical infrastructure and utilities for investment attraction in the time ahead. For issues beyond their competence, it is a need to report them to the municipal administration for guidance and handling.
Meanwhile, the Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency shall assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with DHPIZA and other functional bodies to carry out investment promotion activities.
Vice Chairman Minh hoped that, under the direct management of DHPIZA, the centralized IT Park would quickly come into operation effectively, and especially, makes itself into a venue for research and development (R&D), training and production activities,and the production and trading of IT products and services, thereby contributing to the implementation of Resolution 43-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2019 of the Politburo on the development of Da Nang to 2030, with a vision towards 2045.
On January 6, 2020, the Prime Minister gave a nod to the development of the first stage of the Da Nang Concentrated IT Park.
Covering an area of 131 ha in Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District, the first stage of the Da Nang Concentrated IT Park is being developed by the Da Nang IT Park Development JSC.
The Park is entitled to preferential policies for concentrated IT parks nationwide as prescribed in Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP and other laws.
In the first half of this year, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and industrial zones across the city attracted a combined total of 3 FDI projects worth US$145.3 million and 8 domestically-invested ones totalling VND118.4 billion.
In addition, DHPIZA approved the adjustments to the investment registration certificates for 31 projects, of which 5 increased the registered investment capital for business expansion.
