At the announcement ceremony, representatives of the city leaders provided information on the Decree implementing the Resolution No. 119/2020 / QH14 dated June 19, 2020 of the National Assembly on the pilot organization of the urban government model. of Da Nang city; Decision No. 359 / QD-TTg dated 15-3-2021 approving the adjusted City general planning project; Decision on investment policy of Lien Chieu port construction investment project; The policy allows to study and formulate a project to build Da Nang city into a regional financial center.
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung congratulated the Party Committee, authorities and people of Da Nang city on the foundations for Da Nang development in the coming time.
In order to realize the above orientations, objectives and tasks, the Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the Party, government, army and people of Da Nang city should continue to focus on restructuring the economy associated with the potential and advantages of Da Nang and the whole region, associated with domestic, regional and international market demands; at the same time to ensure effective response to climate change and natural disaster prevention and control; speed up the planning of Da Nang city for the period 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, in which the planning of Da Nang has a central role in the planning project of Da Nang city; concentrating resources to invest in developing a synchronous infrastructure system, especially transport infrastructure, determining this is a breakthrough in Da Nang development in the coming time. To concentrate resources on urban embellishment, building new urban areas, synchronous technical and social infrastructure, and investment in improving the quality of rural infrastructure. In particular, Da Nang city needs to pay attention to developing housing for people, especially social housing for the underprivileged people.
Regarding the project to build Da Nang city into a regional financial center, the city should urgently research and take advantage of international experiences in building a regional financial center such as collecting comments of relevant ministries, branches and agencies to formulate the scheme according to regulations, ensuring feasibility and efficiency.
